AWS Eco Plastics Grand Opening Event
Tuesday, 03 November 2009 00:00

MacMachinery and Stadler would like to take this opportunity to invite you to view and experience Europe’s most advanced plastic sorting facility. AWS Eco Plastics is launching its new, rebuilt mixed plastics bottle sorting facility on the 23rd of November in Hemswell, North Lincolnshire and would like you to be in attendance.  AWS Eco Plastics recycles, on the same site, a high percentage of the sorted plastic into food grade material for reuse in new plastic bottles and packaging. This process saves 65% of the carbon emissions compared to the use of virgin material*.

This world class facility is now the largest and most advanced of its kind in Europe, sorting 100,000t per annum representing 40% of the UK’s plastic waste. The technology used is also being utilised for C&D, C&I and MSW sorting systems.

Guest speaker Lord Henley, the DEFRA Parliamentary Under Secretary of State, responsible for Waste & Recycling, will officially open the plant

This half day event will provide attendants with a unique opportunity to witness Lord Henley officially unveil the facility, to view and understand the workings of the plant and share in our celebrations whilst networking over lunch. . If you would like to attend you can register online at www.regonline.co.uk/aws_eco_plastics_grand_opening or contact the team at MacMachinery on +353 (0)7491 56708.

2009 proved to be an eventful year for Mac Machinery. In October 2009 Mac Machinery confirmed a partnership with German Enterprise Sennebogen and can now provide clients within Ireland and the UK with machinery and equipment for material handling solutions.

Mac Machinery's marketing manager, Annemarie Doohan, says that “you have to adapt in business and be willing to provide clients with the best possible solution  for all their Energy, Environmental and Recycling needs. Selecting a partner who is aligned with your own business model is difficult and introducing Sennebogen as a partner no doubt adds value to our product range”.  Sennebogen follows the same philosophy as MacMachinery in that they too provide “The right machines in the right application”.  Speaking with Robert Aumüller, Sennebogen Area Sales Manager, he stated that “Sennebogen offers customised solutions for all material handling applications not just hydraulic material handlers”.

MacMachinery distributes high quality machinery and equipment for Energy, Environmental and Recycling purposes. Over the years they have build up an impressive list of clients within the Energy, Environmental and Recycling industries and are confident that their partnership with Sennebogen will allow them to create a greater dominance within the Irish and European marketplace. MacMachinery represents some of Europe’s leading equipment suppliers from Doppstadt (Germany), Hein Lehmann (Germany), Neuenhauser (Germany), Presona (Sweden), Stadler (Germany) and newly appointed Sennebogen. MacMachinery offers a comprehensive range of products encompassing balers, ballistic separators, composting equipment, chippers, crushers, grinders, shredders, screens, optical sorting, waste sorting systems and waste shredders.

This new partnership completes Mac Machinery’s product portfolio with the Sennebogen hydraulic Material Handling range “Green Line “. The Green Line product range – market leader in this industry - enables MacMachinery to provide all necessary equipment for an efficient recycling process. Sennebogen can offer all their material Handling Machines as mobile, crawler or stationary machines and can offer electric driven machines and is therefore perfectly set up for the scrap, recycling and the wood industry.

MacMachinery and Sennebogen are looking forward for a long and successful partnership. Today MacMachinery strive on providing the client with a cost effective solution. ‘If we can save the customer money, then we can all grow together’ says Annemaire at MacMachinery. ‘We do a lot of research in the industry worldwide to provide our clients with the absolute most cost effective machine or system for there application’.
